ASTDD Projects:

ASTDD conducts projects through two cooperative agreements. The grants are based on 5-year plans, with new objectives, workplans and budgets submitted every year. Regular updates about grant-related activities are reported in ASTDD's newsletter (Oral Health Matters), during monthly Executive Committee calls, and at the ASTDD Annual Meeting.

ASTDD established a Mentoring Program in 2001 for Dental Directors who have served less than two years in their present position. The purpose of the program is to assist new dental directors by increasing their knowledge base of dental public health, and in developing and managing their programs.
