August 9, 2005, Medicaid Approaches for Individuals with Special Health Care Needs Web Conference: ASTDD in collaboration with HRSA MCHB hosted a web conference to inform the oral health, MCH, and primary care communities about Medicaid approaches being used to enhance access to individuals with special needs.

Geographic Information Systems webconference

February 2006, ASTDD in collaboration with HRSA MCHB and HSR hosted a web conference to provide information about GIS mapping and its use for improving the oral health of children and families in the United States. The link is to meeting proceedings and a streaming video of this conference.

Healthy Aging Web Conference #1

August 18, 2009. Assessing the Oral Health of our Aging Population This web conference presented information on ASTDD’s efforts to develop a Basic Screening Tool for older adults and the experiences of two states that are in the process of assessing the oral health of their older population.

Healthy Aging Web Conference #2

October 13, 2009. The second web conference focused on state successes with implementing programs to serve the needs of their older adult population. The ADA, described who the essential stakeholders are, how targeted oral health programs are designed and implemented, and how the CAPIR Council of the ADA is implementing their program designed to improve the oral health of seniors.
