2026 ASTDD Board of Directors Nominations
Per the ASTDD Bylaws, "A Nominating Committee, consisting of the Immediate Past-President, who shall serve as Chairperson, and three (3) members of the Association elected by the Board of Directors, shall nominate regular members to serve as Officers or Directors and associate members to serve as Associate Member Directors as current terms expire. One member of the Nominating Committee shall be an associate member."
The ASTDD Board of Directors elected Tommy Johnson (AL), Prasida Khanal (MN), and John Welby (Associate Member) to service on the 2026 ASTDD Nominating Committee along with the Immediate Past-president, Julia Wacloff (former Dental Director AZ), who is chairing the committee.
The Nominating Committee is charged with finding at least one candidate for each position. They are pleased to announce the following slate of candidates for the open positions:

To qualify as a candidate for the Board, you must be a "state/territorial dental director in good standing" (2026 dues paid).
Voting will take place at the ASTDD Annual Business Meeting on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 4pm CT, in conjunction with the National Oral Health Conference in Oklahoma City, OK. To vote you must also be "in good standing" (2026 dues paid).
